The Fairview Park Youth Association (FPYA) was started in 1974, as a booster-style organization. The FPYA raises funds to benefit the youth of Fairview. During the 2014 calendar year alone, the FPYA donated $3750.00 to various groups, benefiting the children of Fairview residents.
Our organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, with officers and an assembly of volunteer parent/fathers. We have monthly meetings and vote on all funding requests.
A typical method to secure funding from the FPYA requires a request letter from your club/organization or booster group (sports, academic, scouting, dance or school activity). If a purchase is being made for a specific group, please include an invoice to be paid. Please give ample time for your request to be processed. Inquires can be made through any FPYA member. Two member names with phone numbers are listed below.
The FPYA also presents college scholarships to graduating Fairview residents, in both public and private schools. In 2013, we proudly gave away $7000.00 to graduating seniors for college education. Ask your senior son/daughter to see the school counselors for applications for these scholarships.
